Reflecting the harmony of the sea and the sky on her paintings …

Born in 1982, Zaria Forman had the opportunity to I travel throughout several of the world's most remote landscapes, which were the subject of her mother's fine art photography. Her interest in drawing started at a very young age. After her formal training at Skidmore, she exhibited extensively in galleries and venues throughout the United States and overseas. She also undertook the set design for the classic ballet Giselle, and some of her drawings were used in the set design for TV series House of Cards. Continuing to address climate change in her work, Forman focuses on the turbulent seas and the skies, and on discovering the calmness in the landscape, hoping to create an impact on people.
